Wow 100k...I mean 10k spent in 6 months is kind of steep for some, but still. Tempted to get the 50k card w/25k MQM, but I am not sure if I would get them all since I had a gold card years ago (and to think I signed up then for 20k skymiles and nothing else). 25k would shoot me into Gold and leave some extra MQM for next year though.

The Platinum 50K miles/25K MQM is the one I'm interested in, but I've found no way to make that link work.

As to this question, anybody have any ideas?

I just talked to AX 800 number re the card application for the one offering 100,000 mile bonus including 25,000 MQMs. They said they would try to do it over the phone but would need an RSVP code. Does anyone know what this RSVP code would be for this card offering 25,000 MQMs??

When you click the link for the 'personal card' you get a page saying the system is down. Go up to your browser and change the last number (mine was 306) to something else. I changed it to '285' and the application loaded with 20000 initial bonus + double miles on every purchase for the first 6 months. You have to play around with different numbers to see which app comes up

https://www201.americanexpress.com/c...24/34831/b/267
https://www201.americanexpress.com/c...24/34831/b/285
COOOOLLL: Small Business Platinum:
https://www201.americanexpress.com/s...eep=1116&ct=21
"1. - 5,000 MQMs (and 15,000 bonus miles) with your first purchase on the Card.
2. - 20,000 MQMs (including 20,000 bonus miles) each year your eligible spend on the Card is $50,000.

Now here is how the coding is working for personal Gold, Platinum and Reserve cards I could find:

The csi=24/34831/b/ and 3 numbers are for Gold offers and do not correspond to the pid= 3-digit number in the splash ad.
305 is another Gold, along with 267 and 285.
Gold cards are $95/annual fee with first year waived generally.
------------
For Platinum (a $150 annual fee - not waived) I found you use csi=36/20/b/ and 3 numbers.
The previously posted "/317" link *** DOES NOT PROPERLY GIVE YOU THE 40K bonus incl 15K MQM and 2 SkyClub passes*** so I have removed it. If you have applied via that link, prepare copies / scans of the application documents, and follow trails on p6 or so of this thread.
*** Do NOT use the /317 link anymore, as there have been about 35 cases of improper promo attached to that page, giving you only 20K with 5K MQM. (Updated)

Others:
238 = 50K with 5K MQM incl, etc.
314 = 35K with 5K MQM incl, etc.
312 = 20K with 5K MQM incl., etc.
240 = 35K with 5K MQM incl., etc.
280, 281, 282 do not resolve but a form comes up, and appear to be 25K with 5 MQM - I wouldn't risk it.
*** "311" would be the 50K with 25K MQM, but it does not work and is dead.

Other Platinum:
Use csi=18233/b and 2-3 numbers:
64 = 20K no MQM

=================
Reserve: $450 fee: where csi=37/35177/b and then 2-3 numbers:
40K with 20K MQM included:

Wise bloggers like Frugal Travel Guy have dug in and determined that the 100k offer is dead. It seems Amex doesn't pull down offers as they expire.

So how many minutes until someone asks if Amex is legally bound to honor expired offers if someone can still link to them?

I'm interested in any offering 25K MQM's and I can't find a functioning link for them.

Boy, I sure feel like a fool for signing up for the Plat for 20,000 SkyMiles (incl. 5000 MQMs). I would really like to sign up for the 50,000 incl. 25,000 MQMs but it seems it is inactive.

BTW, are personal and business cards tracked separately?

From my experience, it is possible. Mr. Iast8r has a personal account and a business account (reserve). I have a personal account and a business account (also reserve).

We earned the standard miles + MQMs upon signing up for each of the cards.

We continue to earn miles + MQM for each card each year. We also receive a companion certificate for each card each year.

Mr. Iast8r originally had a gold AmEx; when he upgraded to platinum AmEx, he received only the incremental benefits of which you write.

I'm sure they have a way out of being legally bound to the offers (even if no expiration date) but it does seem a bit "bait and switch" as in (after calling in) we don't offer that deal, but we can offer *insert lesser deal here*

I just recently received (like 2 weeks ago) a Delta Reserve with the 10k MQM bonus with 10k bonus miles after first purchase. There is now a much sweeter deal out there with 20k MQM on top of 40k bonus miles. http://www.flyertalk.com/mad.gif Is it possible to cancel the current card and reapply? I would assume that one would only be eligible for incremental differences, but that would be okay....

Another flavor of Gold 35K (no MQM)

I am still trying to find the elusive 100K offer burried somewhere but in my search I ran across another one if MQMs aren't your bag and limited spend is.

https://www201.americanexpress.com/c...24/34831/b/315

This one gives:
25,000 bonus miles with your first purchase

10,000 additional bonus miles after you make $1,000 in purchases within your first 3 months of becoming a Cardmember

Receive 2 free day passes to the Delta Sky ClubTM

No annual fee for the first year, a savings of $95

I'm a AMEX (non-Skymiles) corporate card member and I've been trying to work with their support on the 50K reg miles/25K MQMs Plat Skymiles card issue ( http://www201.americanexpress.com/sb...nnels&lpid=287 ) and it is has been frustrating to say the least. They've been less than responsive, or if they have, it is "see, here it is, click on this link and you'll be set" and that link will be for one of the more "regular" offers and nothing like what I've been inquiring about.

I've told them that I will only take the personal card with this offer. For some reason I'm having to do all the salesman work on this However, I'm not settling for less than that offer. If it is not valid, etc, well no loss. I'll just move on.

So, if I'm eyeing this card (https://www201.americanexpress.com/c...si=36/20/b/317) as a current Gold card holder who received a 20K RDM bonus, am I eligible for an extra 10K RDMs (of which 5K are MQMs) AND an addition 10K RDMs (which also count as MQMs) after $1,000 or more in qualifying purchases on the Card within 3 months?

Does anyone else read that as the incremental difference which I am eligible to receive?

Also, any chance these are targeted since this is not the offer one finds going through the AmEx site?

I have to beleive there is a moderate chance of this. Just because the link works there is no guarantee that one would actually get the offer as listed. If I do go through with one I plan to take several screen shots, etc. since it is likely I would have to fight for listed benefits.
