Maybe we should start a "Remembering NWA" thread? Could be fun.

So had no clue you could use your sky miles card as a BP, does the mobile card in the Apple Wallet work for boarding too?

It's nice to have one piece of paper for all your flights, over the course of an airlines operations, that saves lots of paper, ink, packaging, $$ and pollution. It's simple but adds up.

Oh and I've got lots of my old BPs as well. But not much time to sort thru at the moment to find one

TP and SK still use single barcode one page boarding passes today, the tech ist very simple and straight forward using the IATA 2D barcode.

SK in the past has implemented NFC boarding passes, fingerprint, any FFP or credit card with a mag stripe as FOID etc.

I may have to work up the courage to see if they will give me a few

Whenever I've asked for trading cards, the pilots have tripped over themselves to pass off some wings. "I got tons of em in here, take some for the kids, take some for yourself"

Seriously I was the most popular NW traveler for years.

This issue with heat on planes. There needs to be a standard. I got
heat stroke in the 90's on aa eagles when that heat hit the Midwest.
Now united had it. I always pushed for extra water on flights in that
extreme weather.

The nw indie staff caught me with symptoms and called med for me.
Their counter was right off the hallway. may have saved my life.
