20K in the account yesterday given delays Tuesday and Thursday. I had to switch airports Tuesday DCA to IAD and Thursday route home via connection in CVG vs. direct DCA-MSP

Status? I'm wondering why you got 5,000 rather than 20,000 RDMs.

I got 20K miles yesterday for my 4+ hr delay (and lost bag) Tuesday. I was traveling on an award ticket, so perhaps that's why I got miles and no $.

Same here. 20k skymiles received yesterday for 4 hours delay BOS-ATL (with one hour on the tarmac) on Tuesday.

Nothing for me

I'm a GM and was delayed 2.5 hours at DTW on Monday. I did however receive a $200 voucher, so wondering if it is one or the other.

PM. I just realized that the 5k miles are probably for a totally unrelated issue I had last week.

I think this might just add fuel to the fire: I flew Tuesday, and miraculously my flight was one of the few on-time. Got the 20,000 bonus "Medallion" miles anyway. For those of you who had a much worse experience, 20k miles and $200 voucher seems very parsimonious.

Did not get email re: 3hours, did get apology email

I had a total delay of over 5 hours.

Probably a shade under 3 hours on departure, though we loaded the plan 2:15 late and sat for about 45 minutes (PHL).

Then we sat about 2:15-2:30 once we landed in Atlanta waiting for a gate.

I filled out the form. I did NOT receive a 3 hour delay email I've seen referenced. I DID receive an apology email today, but no mention of compensation.

Anyone that did NOT get a 3hr email get any compensation yet?

Are you talking about the form on www.delta.com/wecare?

Has anybody actually received the TCV in their account? I have 20K miles, but no e-mail and no voucher. My flight Tuesday was cancelled.

My flight from PEK to DTW on 8/8 was cancelled, after waiting in the airplane for 5+ hours. All 290+ people were arranged in a five-star hotel, with dinner/breakfast vouchers. We were able to fly with the same airplane and same group of crew next day.
Got 20K miles in my skymiles account and filled the form yesterday for $200 compensation, until now no response yet.

Similar experience for me except only $200. Have you requested more or are you waiting?

I'm writing a nice letter to DL praising their agents for being so calm and collected in ATL (they really were) and explaining my 27-hour mid-transit delay. Received $200 voucher so far. No status on DL. Paid for hotel and some "essentials" out of pocket but hoping to get reimbursed by trip insurance for that. What is appropriate compensation for a delay like this at connecting point (with fewer options than being delayed at home airport)?
