Downgrade to 757-300 exit row seating ?
I see that an upcoming flight has been changed to a modified 757-300: previously it used the traditional 2 rows of 3-and-3 seating with generous legroom for the overwing exits; the modified aircraft removes the window seats from designated exit row 28, while designated exit row 27 remains 3 and 3.
Typically when an airline adopts this configuration for the overwing exit row pair (removal of 1 window seat on each side), the airline also completely removes the additional legroom from both exit seat rows (a good example being AS, but many more as well).
Does anyone have firsthand experience with these overwing exits in the modified 757-300 planes ? Thanks for your help !

Very unlikely that you'll see a 753 flying SFO-JFK unless it's a sub.
