For those FlyerTalk members who do not already know this: The third item from the left in the dark blue tool bar at the top is Calendars, which can be used to find out the dates of the birthdays of FlyerTalk members as well as the dates of when all of the get-togethers, meets and “do”s are scheduled.
FlyerTalk scoops the world with news report! — Read the minute-by-minute account of war between Israel and Lebanon by two FlyerTalk members: Dovster, based in Yiron in northern Israel, and BEYFlyer, based in Beirut, Lebanon — both of whom are concerned for each other’s well-being. Other accounts by FlyerTalk members in that region of the Middle East are also posted in this remarkable thread, which has captured the attention of news organizations such as MSNBC.

I am honored that you made this a “sticky” thread, Ocn Vw 1K. Thank you!
However, by no means is this thread complete. I have obviously not been an actively posting member of FlyerTalk nearly as long as many other FlyerTalk members, some of whom are original members of FlyerTalk. As a result, it stands to reason that there may be some threads of the CommunityBuzz! forum about which I may be unfamiliar and whose links are therefore not included in this thread but probably should be.
I need the assistance of the FlyerTalk community at large to help make this thread as complete, as easy to use, and as error-free as possible. Again, all suggestions, corrections, additional information or constructive criticism concerning the content in this thread are welcome...
