I count myself fortunate to have found this place and made many friendships as a result. Congratulations on 20 years for FT in all forms.

Well that is cleared up then. Not '95 in an operating format. 112 posts and 3 months before closing for 3 years does not a chat board make. '98 is the date an operating and continuing chatboard went live as explained by Randy himself. :-)

Whew, thought I was going senile :-)

Gotta agree with mjm here. It's not really the Flyertalk 20th anniversary yet. In 2018 we should really have some sort of celebration.

That's amazing to think about, I don't think I even used the internet until 1996 and I loved computers as a kid. Here's to the next 20 years!

I was just in my old travel folder looking at a UA mileage statement from 1997. It states, "Mileage Plus: Voted Frequent Flyer Program of the Year for the 3rd year in a row by InsideFlyer readers."

Yes, of course I do remember this. I used Apple computer a long time ago since I was little. Also, I remember that I got new Macintosh computers since I was 17 years old. I remember that we went to CompUSA. A year later, I have Packard Bell computer from my brother. I remember old Macintosh computers is died. We don't have enough memory space. A few years later, we have Comaq computer from Manchester, NH for my birthday.
