Visa in one Passport, booking travel on different one.
Hello,
I hold dual Irish and U.S. citizenship and live in the EU. Living in the EU I obviously prefer to depart and enter the EU on my Irish passport. However my Chinese visa is in my U.S. passport (because my professional license used for issuing my visa indicated my U.S. citizenship). Is it possible to book my travel using my Irish Passport (when the airline requests my passport information) and still enter China on my U.S. passport? Is it just a matter of showing the Chinese visa in my U.S. passport when checking in at the airport?

To provide additional data point...
I have travelled to China on my two passports (US and Cdn) with my visa in my Cdn and booked travel on my US (for ease of transit thru US).
It didn't pose a problem. I've done so for 7 trips over the last three years.
