Space in name on confirmation

Space in name on confirmation
Hello, 1st time poster here 
I've booked a holiday through On the Beach, and they have entered a space in our surnames - it now reads Mc Gonigle. Is this likely to be a problem at check in as obviously our passports don't have this space.

You will not run into any issue with the erroneous space in check-in or security. I have had this issue before and it can be a pain when retrieving your reservations online, but I've never had any agents or immigration give it a second look. Happy traveling.
