Bizarre message at OLCI

Evening - just attempted to check in for my flight to BCN tomorrow - checked in fine but then got a message saying 'your travel documents are not valid for this flight' ?! Never seen this before and I fly weekly - passport is in date etc and all entered in with my exec club details in account - anyone experienced this - it's not letting my retrieve my boarding pass and says something along the lines of 'do not contact our service centre as they are unable to support with passport & visa issues ?!

Anyone seen this before or have any advice ?

Second example of this in a few hours....

I suspect a glitch. It's happened before, with a passenger at BIO. When they checked in it was as if nothing was wrong.

Had this last week. Bloody annoying as it meant I had to go through immigration and check in at a desk in ATH

Had this as well last week. The guess of the check in agent ( who had nil issues ) was we were in an exit row.

Check your passport isn't due to expire within 3/6 months. I had this with my husband earlier this year... major panic involving early morning trip to the US embassy!! :-)

I had this twice last week on the same booking, very annoying, absolutely nothing wrong with my passport. Assumption is it's a glitch.

Don't forget that this is BA's IT.... which is subject to regular enhancements.... our customers told us that they like to use our passport checking service... at check-in.
