BA Business Class Sale Oct 15 and 16 [USA-UK]

Advertised on BA.Com as R/T US - LHR as low as $2015. I just booked CW DEN - LHR for $1,600. Lots of availability. Must complete booking by Oct 16. Travel valid through end of August 2016. No promotional code necessary.

What fare code do these book into? Can they be upgraded to F with Avios?

All club world fares on BA can be upgraded subject to redemption availability in F. I'm just on the hunt right now to avoid using a joker.

With some creative routing you could make this into a TP run with the US sectors booking into A class for 60 / 210 TPs. I am just a little annoyed that my flights home for Christmas are already booked and at $500 per person change / cancellation fee that pretty much wipes out the savings to be made here. Might have to think about Easter or the May Bank Holiday though

Using the AARP discount can get MIA-ABZ-MIA in CW for approximately $1,200. Just a pity that the Chase 10% hasn't yet been extended past December 2015.

got JFK-LHR-JFK on the baby bus outbound AA back for 1200RT in three weeks

also DEN-LHR for 1210. YAY, finally a sale from the US.

annoying thing: currently Gold and must call to reserve seats as they want to charge me online.

With the AARP discount and 30K Avios spend, I just booked RT in CW from PHL-LHR for $452 per person. Holy Moses, that is an unbelievable deal. I am going to book a second trip tomorrow, just need to come up with a destination that Mr. travelmad478 wants to visit!

OW elites must also call in to reserve seats. Took about 15 minutes on hold. But once reserved it looks like seats can be changed online for free.

Some fantastic fares but being UK based need to see If I can combine 2 trips. Lots of availability for USA to LHR return in F for about £1k +40k avios. Definitely got my thinking cap on.

I am also Gold, although flying on a BA flight. During the booking it wanted to charge me, but when I got my confirmation email I went to MMB and chose seats for free.

AARP discount seems to have been turned off for these fares.

...or maybe not. Some cities were pricing at $1600 instead of $2000...looks like those fares are changing.

AARP discount still working. Some cities had $1600 fare instead of $2000. AARP reduced those to $1200. Those cities are now pricing $1600 with AARP discount.
