Smile

That young lad who flew constantly to get 5,000 TP and then appeared with the BA hostess in the CCR to receive his Gold card and a glass of bubbly was in the F lounge travelling with a friend to Venice from LGW on Thursday lunchtime.

Maybe a celeb in the flyer talk world !!!

and he "flew constantly" to get 1,500 TPs and thus a Gord Card. Not 5,000 and CCR. only the really cool kids do the latter.

Lol. I stand corrected on several fronts, but it was definitely him.

If he is a member maybe he can advise us of which cabin he flew to Venice in.

I'm pretty sure I got that bit right as he was reading a Venice guide book, and when gate 101 appeared on the screen for the 12:30, his friend leapt up and said: "Put down that glass of Tattinger, we're off".

Princess Eugenie on BA1331 today. Also in lounge at NCL with 1 security guy. When we boarded another security guy was on plane in 1C, Eugenie took 1A and other security sat in 1B.

They were escorted off plane first, straight down airbridge staircase and into a waiting car - of which there were 2. Decoy vehicle? Is she that important? Am I over thinking this and should get a life?

Not typical at all I'd say. I don't know many students who are accompanied by security on trips and whisked away in waiting cars on the tarmac
