a bit OT: Qatar availability only on some days?

Hi guys,

Just looking at qatar availability on ba.com with avios.

I can find seats between 25th-9th but nothing between the 10th-26th, I'm seeing this May - June - July 2015.

I tried other routes and the seats are there.

Do they blackout dates on some routes?

for info CDG-MLE is the route.

1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 June lots of seats
10-26 no seats
26,27,28,29,30 lots of seats

Same sort of pattern is happening as they release July 2015 seats

1,2,3,4,5,6 July lots of seats
7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18 no seats

I'll throw this into the ring for a bit of lateral thinking. May be to do with the start and end of Ramadan. This should start around 10/11 days earlier than this year (29th June) so may coincide with dates and the airline expecting increase of travellers before the start and end hence may have blackout dates for award travel. Rough dates for 2015 around 18th June starting and Eid festival around 16th July.

But he is seeing this over 3 different consecutive months, so highly unlikely!
