BA Adds Burger to First Class In-Flight Menu, First and Concorde Lounges
Starting next month, first class long-haul BA fliers will be treated to a "specially crafted gourmet" burger. The "Flying Burger" will be listed on the bistro menu and will be served with triple-cooked chips and a choice of relishes.
A "Grounded Burger" (crafted differently from the one available in-flight) will be added to the menus of both first and Concorde lounges.

If you happen to be flying long-haul or in one of the lounges serving the burgers, report back and let us know what you think of these burger additions.
Mods: I tried to search for a good, existing thread to add this post to, but quickly skimming through the hundreds of possible threads in the search results yielded nothing. My apologies, but I know that you would know best as to where this news would fit.

Maybe they've discovered a new supplier of ground-up industrial waste?

I have had the privilege of having a BA Burger in CCR and they are wrank! especially the buns. I do believe the new burger proposal will be an improvement but not sure if the triple cooked chips is a good idea nor serving it in First on board. They would be better of sticking to proper French fries and not fat chips.

Actually, the BA lounge triple cooked chips are perfectly horrible!
I think the burger itself has improved in some ways although still not great, but like others upthread, I do miss "proper" dishes such as the salmon they used to serve in the lounge.
In flight, my favourite was the steak sandwich and I don't really think a burger is as nice unless it is much improved.
