Actually, the BA lounge triple cooked chips are perfectly horrible!
I think the burger itself has improved in some ways although still not great, but like others upthread, I do miss "proper" dishes such as the salmon they used to serve in the lounge.
In flight, my favourite was the steak sandwich and I don't really think a burger is as nice unless it is much improved.
