Talking Is this the most scenic approach to LHR or what?

Flying back to LHR some time ago, had the most scenic approach you could get to LHR.

Should I get compensation for this? I mean, there were children on that flight! Someone think of the children!

Picture credit to HWMBO as I didn't have a camera with me then.

You are aware that most arrivals from the East are stacked over Essex, then fly across the entirety of the city - and the City! - with magnificent views, right? Bag a window seat next time you fly from Amsterdam. Or Rotterdam. etc etc.

So, no.

Me thinks the OP is referring more to the "shape" of the routing. Kinda looks like a giant ...
