Haneda JL First Lounge

Here is my experience from Haneda Airport and especially JL First Lounge

the terminal is not busy when I arrived around noon

No priority lines for Business/First to clear immigration and security but there were not a lot of people.

JL Lounges entrance

To the left the First Class Lounge (and Business to the right of course)

Luggage lockers to the left

Press and magazines

Overview of the lounge

Unfortunately only japan plug

Showers are shared with the Business Lounge

Massage chair

Restrooms with japanese washlet

Let's go for food and beverage offer

My choice

The food was not to my taste and the champagne was bitter
I was very disappointed but maybe I was expecting too much of this lounge because I thought it was the JL flagship.
Anyway the lounge has a great view on the tarmac and it's nice to spot airplanes

Just before I left there were much more people but still enough seats for everyone

Superb set of photos. Thanks! ^

Isn't this the lounge which isn't open for the early BA flight, BA8?

Nice photos. Im a big fan of those cubicles that look out over the runway, its one of my favourite lounges for that alone. But, like you, i wasn't impressed by the food options.

Compared to the Biz lounge at Haneda it looks like paradise!

That is correct. Of course, if BA8 is delayed as it was for my last one, you can try it out though.

different experience

I have been to this lounge several times but only at night to avail the midnight flight to SFO.

I found the food selection to be good at that time. And the Champagne was not bitter. I also love the massage chairs they have in one of the rooms.

Champagne is currently Ayala. I don't know if it's not to some people's taste. I don't normally touch any champagne other than Krug or Cristal so I wouldn't know (not for a snob reason, I am allergic to many of them).

Thought the lounge was peaceful and the views stunning. Got a kick out of the beer machine, and as far as food they had Irish stew on offer which I found funny, being Irish.

Nice pictures, thanks for posting ^

I like the design of JAL's lounges - classically understated.

Krug is nice.
Cristal is overrated/overpriced plonk for aspiring rap artists.

Great photos - was there last month brought back good memories. I agree with the food I was expecting more especially compared to BA at T5 or the Wing at HKG. I made the mistake of going into the business lounge for a few minutes was really rammed and actually had pretty much the same food selection quickly ran back. Those automatic beer dispensers are amazing though

The lockers for the bags was great - as someone who always carries the maximum hand luggage over checked bags.

I really like the food in the HND F lounge, it is one of my favourite lounges. Shame about the departure time of BA 8 though
