Also, the language barrier is another issue. Its hard to find proper English, German and other languages spoken proficiently at most locations....
This was admirably demonstrated at a recent luncheon I attended. The host served some wine from an unlabeled bottle. Thankfully there was a expert Argenologist sitting next to me who could answer my question - "Vat kind of vine is dis?" "Es gut, ja!"

Of course, following that theme, we will have to change the title to "Spend some pesos, get some wine."

It isn't that the bottle never had a label. However, since Spanish loves the passive and reflexive, it is more that "the label lost itself" (without reference to how or why).

Indeed....one has to wonder what type of establishment SoFlyOn frequents for lunch. A bit dodgy if you ask me.

When I serve cheap wine to guests I at least pour it into a decanter before putting it on the table.

IIRC, he usually lunches at a place with free internet and imported foodstuffs. Although I've never had your wine, his is less dodgy than yours. I guarantee it!

Apropos "Argentina, the country that lost itself" Although on reflection, that maybe a bit passive-aggressive
