Does anyone have thoughts on when (and how much) the next signup for the Everyday Preferred might be? Trying to decide whether to get the Everyday with 25K bonus or hold out for the EDP.
Also, is it possible to get bonuses on both the Everyday and EDP? Are they considered the same product or different products for bonus purposes? Thanks for any input.

I'd wait on the EDP, 15k isn't great.

Oh, gosh, so I got the mail out of my mailbox yesterday (after being away for a few days) and I have a letter from Amex saying they're upgrading my Blue to an Everyday in early October. I log in online and it's still showing as Blue. So I go to another browser, am able to pull up the Everyday 25k offer, apply (and print out the offer), and am approved. But all this language about "not qualifying for the 25k if I have this card" is starting me in the face.
So the question is: At what point does Amex look to see if you had another card of the same type as to whether you can get the bonus? At the time you apply, at the time you're approved, at the time you activate the card, or the time you finish the spend? I did not have another Everyday card at the time I applied or the time I was approved, but I might (given the interplay of my travel timing and Amex's conversion timing) not even be able to activate the applied-from-scratch Everyday card before my online account is showing my Blue converted to an Everyday.
Any suggestions on how I should proceed further? (Do I still have a hope of earning the 25k?)

Make sure to clear your cookies! I got the 10K offer eventhough I was incognito. Cleared cookies and magically got the 25K offer.

Couldn't get the link in the OP to work in incognito mode.
I cleared cache and cookies each time.
Finally got the link from here to work
http://www.uscreditcardguide.com/ame...y-credit-card/
No idea if the link is different or it was just lucky that time.

Thank you to mia, sdsearch and others who posted in this thread and elsewhere, carefully coaching me on the max number of cards and the need to apply on a browser that hadn't been used for my AMEX account before. I was approved.
