Anybody get an email from FedEx about claiming a $25 gift card on Nov. 1st?

This seems kind of stupid. I'm guessing that these gift cards will be available for use at all businesses, not just small ones, and the promotion appears to be open to the entire world, not just AMEX holders.

"FedEx and American Express® are teaming up for a big idea to benefit America's small businesses. Together, we're sponsoring Small Business Saturday®, Nov. 26, 2011, by giving shoppers a total of $1 million worth of Shop SmallSM American Express gift cards to spend at local retailers across America.

You're going to like this

It's easy to get your free $25 American Express Shop Small gift card from FedEx. Beginning Nov. 1, be one of the first 30,000 visitors to claim your gift card on our Facebook page."

Terms & Conditions

Offer available through 11:59 p.m. ET on November 7, 2011 or while supplies last, whichever is sooner. Offer is open to legal residents of the 50 U.S. and D.C., 18 or older. Limit 1 per person/email address; limit 2 per household. American Express® Gift Card terms apply. Not redeemable for cash, except where required by law. Use at U.S. merchants that accept American Express Cards. Additional limitations apply. See Cardholder Agreement. Issued by American Express Pre-paid Card Management Corporation. FedEx makes no guarantee that every person who signs up for a card will receive one. Subject to offer terms.

Wondering if this is the whole promo this year, or in addition to the AMEX cardmember promo.

Sounds like it is the whole thing, but we don't know for sure yet. Looks like AMEX got FedEX to foot the bill.

Does anyone know for certain whether you get one $25 credit per card or per account? I registered all my authorized user cards but the terms don't really clarify whether they work or not. It says "per card."

Thanks! All cards successfully registered. Gonna be a lot of delivery/takeout food coming our way. Between that and turkey leftovers, we'll be good through Christmas!
