Facebook same: Live the dream and fly our ‪#‎Dreamliner‬ domestically for one month beginning 5/7 from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport to Chicago O'Hare International Airport.
Then take to the international skies on 6/2 from DFW to Beijing and 6/4 from DFW to Buenos Aires.
Book your dream flight beginning 2/14.

Some new pics too.

AA just announced DFW-ORD, followed by DFW-EZE & DFW-PEK

Guess i was wrong about LAX. That must've been pushed back. Oh well. Time to start booking! (bookings start 2/14)

Similar business class seat as the 772, with a fairly low number of premium seats (28/226) compared to the 772 (45/260).

Based on the seat count, I'm guessing that this will be used on lower-yielding routes.

Any guesses which flight DFW-ORD on 5/7? Will it replace a current one or supplement the existing schedule?

It will likely be a replacement. The DFW-ORD already has huge ASM increases with rather pedestrian load factors. I doubt they will supplement this route with another massive ASM bump with the 787. Expect an MD-80 to disappear.

Current management is reducing premium seating across the board save for the 77W. The 77D will eventually be 37/289. SWU will plummet in value over the next four years with the delivery of the 787s and A350s with fewer J class seats. Good luck ever getting an upgrade on the 787-9 with 28/289. US originally planned for 36/330 on the A350. With all of the 767s gone probably by the end of the decade the most premium heavy aircraft will be in the order of the 77W, 772, 788, A350, A333, 789, A332. Welcome to the world of WJBJ!

However, in fairness to Parker and Co, they aren't the only ones reducing premium seating. Delta has cut down on J class seating on its 747s, 777s, and half of the 767s over the past three years.

DFW-ORD is short enough that I would imagine the 787 doing more than one daily round trip during this break-in/familiarity phase.

On the first 2 787 routes, one will be to Asia and one to S.America-- both to places AA already flies.

AA wants to expand into Asia. Every indication (including going for HND slots) indicates they want to make LAX their asian hub. Take that as it is.
