757. It's in the press release.

I'm assuming (perhaps incorrectly) that it will be a 75L.

Wow, these are great additions! I'm especially excited about DFW-FAR on the CRJ! Upgrades on Eagle... finally! (for my travel destinations) ^

And no more connecting to LIM via MIA is very ^^^.

Shouldn't the US C&I concerns be moot since Dublin has U.S. CBP pre-clearance facilities? Wouldn't a DUB-JFK flight arrival be processed like a domestic flight?

Upgrades on a CRJ200 from DFW to FAR? Good one!

You seem to forget that two of Samsung's five US business units are headquartered in TX; one in Richardson (less than 25mi from DFW), the other in Austin (15 daily connections between AUS and DFW). My guess is that they've been negotiating with Samsung for quite some time on a travel contract and when they were finally able to undercut KE the service was announced. Perhaps they even have an arrangement similar to GSK on the RDU-LON route...

The other thing that would make this attractive to Samsung executives is the fact that all travel can be consolidated since the Silicon Valley and New Jersey operations are very easily connected to TX via AA; more so than DL (KE's US partner).

DOH! My excited brain did not read the "2XX", but instead "7XX".

I should have known better for a flight to FAR.

This is perfect as I need to go to ICN in late May. Now the question is - when can I book it and what are the chances an SWU will clear?

I'm very happy that this is coming back (and I've been commenting on this board as to the problems with the over-reliance on MIA as a single-threaded connection point.

I fear that the ghetto 757 will be back on this route, as it was previously but will hope for better.

i like this as it adds a new option for me. i was never a fan of the idea of having to typically go LGA-ORD-NRT-ICN. one less hop and staying on a single carrier is a big plus for me. it'll make me double think next time i have to go back.

This is very welcome news to me since I take a group to Peru in May!

AA currently operates two daily MIA-LIM flights on AA metal. It seems backwards to me that the overnight flight (AA 2153) is on a 757 and the day flight (AA 917) is on a 763. I'm hoping the DFW-LIM flights are on a 763.

DFW-LIM-DFW was announced as a 757. Don't hold your breath for a 763.
