Would be grateful for an idea of what I will be getting on the following flights, in coach, that I have coming up on AA. Thanks in advance
1. DFW-FRA
B777, listed as dinner and breakfast
2. MAD-MIA
B763, listed as lunch, snack or brunch
Usually I fly the European airlines long-haul and had an excellent meal on Swiss but using miles for some of it so AA won this round. They are both in February and include IAD-DFW and MIA-DCA, but I know AA's wondeful coach service

International Meals
I fly AA a great deal, both domestic and international. Generally in First or Business. While I like AA, the meals are a great disappointment. In "Main Cabin" expect to pay for adult beverages. East some good food prior to departure and after arrival and try to sleep on the plane.

You should expect a tray with a cold roll in plastic, small salad with a tomato slice on it, cheese wedge and 3 crackers, 150ml water bottle, small dessert something (lately AA has been on a custard kick on my flights), and for a main course a choice of two dishes, usually a red meat stew-like item (meat, sauce, veg all together), and then a white meat (chicken or fish or maybe veggie) pasta item.
For second meal, if it is lunch or dinner, a small pizza is sometimes served, or a sandwich. If it is a breakfast, it's a warm croissant, sometimes yogurt, 4 small slices of fruit, and I may be missing one item.

What might I expect in economy JFK-CDG and LHR-JFK for gluten-free options? Thanks

Next INTL Biz trip is JFK-LHR in a bit over a week so I'll see what they're offering on that.

I remember having the gnocchi before. Once it was a little gummy, but <shrug> - still ate all of it. I've guess I've gotten used to the weird texture of AA's starch options...gummy gnocchi, "mashed potatoes" that are soft and watery with no texture, rice that's crispy from being dry/overbaked, etc.

The scallops on our menu were in a lime sauce. The beef and gnocchi were ok, beef very well cooked, but I found the gnocchi dry.

Exactly the same as above for CDG-ORD, except the final dessert after the light meal was a choice of fruit cup or chocolate chocolate chunk cookie (or both, I heard the FA concede to the guy next to me).

I has the scallops and they would have been great but the dish was lukewarm at best. Here are some pictures:
Warm nuts and beverage
Seafood appetizer
Salad
Scallops with Lime Champagne
Ice Cream Sundae
