Worldwide spares are probably measured in terms of less than a half-dozen engines, if even.

I believe that one other issue is that you need an Antonov (AN124 or AN225) to move the engine. I am moderately (85%+) certain that I recall reading that you cannot even fit a B777 engine on the main deck of a B747 freighter (side or nose door). UA had a B777 stuck in Whitehorse a couple of years ago and they trucked an engine up IIRC.

I found the details (and I was sort of right).
Quoting Beech19 (Reply 15):
A GE-90 can be put into a 747F thru the nose door with "minor dismantlement" according to GE.
You have to remove the fan module from the core. The engine was designed to this would be an easy operation.
Quoting AA777223 (Reply 20):
The GE aviation website advertises the GE90 as being able to be transported in a 747 freighter.
It will also fit in the 777F. (Fan module off in both cases)
I guess the question is does AC have mechanics qualified in removing the fan module and re-assembling it up in PAFA?

They're losing several hundred thousand dollars per day having that plane on the ground, AC and GE will move heaven and earth to make sure qualified AOG personnel are there when the parts are..

It turned out, that the crew observed a vibration of engine #1 (left hand engine) and heard a boom from that engine. The engine continued to operate normally however the vibration continued.

Even one blade out will cause significant vibration due to imbalance.
So they'll definitely need a new propulsor module.
