The old CDG MLL wasn't overly impressive IMO, but I haven't visited the new one.

Not quite. 24L was instructing the bar staff on the correct ingredients in a Singapore Sling when we got talking and I told her I just came off an AC flight. Though I was talking to myself on the plane when I cursed out the ancestry of the very boring Portuguese Macanese chicken.

LMAO. The first bartender was having some difficulties with the ingredients. She said she was new. So I showed her photos I had from a previous trip with the entire "episode". And it was awesome having "unplanned" Slings in HKG with vernonc.

I have been meaning to do a trip to KUL (or CKG), can be had for under $60 and I have some dragon lounge passes to use. The plan is to just use it to predrink before going out one night.
Otherwise it's $129 on SQ which is still relatively cheap for getting drunk in Singapore.

Managed to catch up with 24left, nomadic_relief and Sean Peever for a quick cocktail yesterday at YVR. At what point does a "met along the way" scenario become a micro-Do?
