Found these gems going through old family photos -

It may be "under the wing" and not from an Air Canada aircraft, but surely being of an Air Canada aircraft counts?? Any ideas on which airport - I can see an outdoor observation deck and I would guess the photo is circa 1970s.

Okay, technically not Air Canada, but too good not to share!

Now time for a shameless advertisement of my youtube channel.

Some landing videos. As for the Westjet video, well lets just say it was a group trip, I voted AC, and I guess I lost.

I want to say YUL Dorval (or P.E.Trudeau as it's now known)

That would be reasonable, dad was living in Ontario at the time. He also did a trip from there to Mexico, and back up via the west coast, returning to Ottawa several months later, so he's a little fuzzy where in the trip this was!

Thanks!

You'll have to change your username. Only 2 of 9 videos are at YHZ.

Great thread idea - thanks 24left!

Like many of you I take tons of these but usually they're not very interesting. Here's one I really liked from a typically boring YOW-YYZ flight, on a 763 (C-GHLA (656)). I confess to using at least one, at most two Instagram filters.

You're welcome. It's a fantastic idea for all of us to showcase what we see.

ABSOLUTELY sexy hot those wings and engines, and it's quite the hilarious moment when I speak with pilots and cabin crew who say the same thing.

Gibsons and Port Mellon with the Coast Mountains in the background (i.e. in the East) while circling around to land from the West in Vancouver on AC189 2 August 2012. If this works I'll post some more ....

Ottawa as seen from AC166 over Gatineau (looking south). I have to credit one of the flight attendants for this one. I was chatting with her about photography and she suddenly said "look at the that!" pointing out my window at the beautiful view. So I got this beautiful shot:
