If you look really close you can see the nose of the 1900D in the reflection

I'm getting really really frustrated with FT's upload feature rotating photos and not re-sizing them. Out of spite I am leaving the one above as is.

I always enjoy seeing the mountains in the haze when flying into YVR in the evening. I use this shot in as a screen background for my laptop. (Taken from AC137 YYZ-YVR 31 July 2009)

Taking off from runway 06 at YQB, you can get a glimpse of the SOPFEU's CL-215s and CL-415s.

Stunning! I almost always prefer an aisle seat - except when crossing the mountains.

Thanks! And I always try and time my flights to be flying over the mountains at a good time of day for sightseeing.

A few shots from AC166 (YVR-YOW) last summer (Aug 2, 2015)

1) Log booms in the collecting pond just north of YVR. Vancouver and the mountains in the background.

2) Mount Baker just across the US border. On the ground it often looks like its just behind Vancouver.

3) Ottawa and Parliament Hill. I wish the picture was just a little clearer!

Thanks! That's just as likely - and more fitting as Dorval didn't sit entirely right in my blurry memory (not that it counts for much in this situation!).

I'll best you didn't expect to see an abstract photo here. This is my window at YYZ on AC1866 (Rouge) to Orlando during de-icing on March 3, 2915. I keep thinking this would make a nice background for something although perhaps it is a bit to busy for that.

Oh I love how you did this! I'm going to try and get creative on my next 789 flight, see what I can come up with!
