Getting a partial award refund.

I booked an award flight from DEN-EZE for early 2013, about 9 months ago. The award is in first class on United. At the time I booked the flight, United had a 3-class airplane scheduled for that route (EWR-EZE, not DEN-EWR). All three class were available and I booked in first. Recently United change the airplane that it uses for the EZE flight to a 2-class plane. My first class seat is now in biz. So I am now paying 135k for a flight that should be 95k.

A. Do I have any chance of getting aeroplan to credit me back the difference in award redemption.

B. What would be the best strategy or argument to use to get a refund.

(there is currently no availability in biz class)
