Security Checks for Active Duty Personnel
I haven't seen this posted but was informed from my command that a new FAA law went into affect that allows active duty to avoid the random baggage checks if they are chosen. They need to show the ticket agent their official orders or leave papers. I tried this during my last flight and was told it is true. Northwest is aware of this but I haven't flown anyone else.
