Makes sense in light of the fact that our armed forces personnel often travel quite heavily encumbered . But I also think that the DOD should directly communicate with the airlines on the waving through of active tuty personnel traveling to/from work. This could be a huge security loophole waiting to happen and document fraud is an expertise of an unfair amount of terrorists and foreign intelligence.
