New View Bookings Feature on aircanada.ca
Just saw it tonight, on the main page, just beside the Flight Status page, there is now a View Bookings feature to enter the PNR and the passenger's last name to display the particular booking.
I don't have any AC flights booked right now so would anyone care to try this out and report back on what it displays (perhaps a screen shot if possible)?

Pretty neat. Tried 3 active bookings I have and 2 out of 3 were displayed. Even the one that I booked from a travel agent was displayed. It's also real time too as it shows "C" for the segments that I upgraded.
For those that doesn't have any active bookings, the display itinerary page shows:
- Confirmation Number
- Date Created
Then there's a listing of your flights.
- From: XXX
- To: XXX
- Airline
- Flight/Class
- Date
- Depart
- Arrival
- Nbr
Hope this is a sign that we are getting real time Aeroplan statements.

This is excellent. Thanks for pointing that out. And as Empress notes, it really is real time. I just made a change to a booking and the change was reflected while I was on the phone with the agent.

I have to say... I really like this new function on AC's website. I just made a complicated reservation with AC [haven't paid for it yet] and I can already see the whole thing on AC's website to make sure that everything was done correctly.

Don't know what's happening lately, I can't see both my revenue and reward reservations lately. Afterburner said in another thread that it might be due to your browser configuration.

One can actually view aeroplan and non-aeroplan bookings on http://www.aeroplan.com. You will also be able to see seat assignments! Follow the links to your bookings.

This seems to let you see Aeroplan bookings, but not revenue bookings. I have every possiblity at the moment (made on PTO, with an agent at AC, revenue, reward etc etc). For the aeroplan, you log in, go to Book Travel, then Your Bookings is a link on the left.
Still finding the "your bookings" on the main AC site strange, I can see some of my reservations but not all!
Cheers

Empress, for some reason it will give that error message at first, however, if you hit the back button and refresh it should show your rev. bookings. It is not an ideal way of checking your bookings but it worked for me.

When I called AC to place a reservation on hold for airport ticketing, I could see the reservation on aircanada.ca as soon as I got the confirmation number.
After I ticketed it at the airport (paid using an MCO), I got the same error Empress did and haven't been able to view the reservation since (it's an e-ticket).
