10,000 Marriott Reward Points for Switching to AT&T

I got this in the mail from Marriott. Yes, it is not as good as the mileage claims from MCI and Sprint, but if you want to stay with the largest Telecom carrier, AT&T, this gives you an option.

Get 10,000 Marriott Rewards points for switching to AT&T Residential by May 31, 1999. You then earn 5 Marriott Rewards points for every dollar charged. Call 800-288-2662, ext. 67818.

Note: I am guessing that you can sign up with the above offer and then switch the billing plan to the AT&T One Rate On-Line offer which gives you 9cents a minute/24 hours a day (with no monthly fee or monthly minimums). You get your bills on-line and charged to credit card.

Steve100: thanks for the great tip. Unfortunately I just called AT&T and neither deal is available with the Personal Network, which I have because you get 10 cent/min for all calls from home to US, Canada, and UK, and also all calls FROM those places to your home phone number using your calling card. That service is free with the OneRate cellular service which I have, so the whole package is great for me.
