Flying ANZ but need a Quantas counter @ LAX
Hi everyone,
I'm eagerly awaiting my trip next week. Film has been bought, hostel and car reservations have been made, and now I just made a res for a flight between ROT and CHC on Quantas (sorry, but it was 3 times the price on ANZ). So rather than issue me a paper ticket and charge me a $20 US FedEx fee, they said it can be issued by Quantas at LAX.
I'm connecting to NZ 3 from ORD, if that matters, and my ticket is in Business, so I plan to chill in the lounge.
What's the easiest way to get checked in and the ticket issued with minimizing time in lines and running between locations?
Thanks for the info,
Elektrik

Hi elektrik. I can't help you re LAX, but why not pick up your QF tickets at Auckland airport? Unless there's some reason why you can't pick them up outside the US, I would have thought that would be a much easier option.

elektrik, I'm sure you'll have a great time in Middle Earth; it is a spectacular country!
Any reason why you have to ticket in LAX? Can you not ticket in AKL?
BTW - QANTAS is a an acronym, not a word, so it is not subject to the U after Q rule. There is no letter U in QANTAS. Some people south of the equator get a little annoyed.
Enjoy your flight!

Thanks, mad_atta and Latitudes. I'm not sure why the QANTAS (hey, sorry, I'm a SkyTeam guy....
) guy didn't mention that. I said I'd be in LAX then AKL, but he specifically said he'd note LAX pickup. I'll call back and check, because AKL would be much better (as long as they're open after my 11:20pm arrival).
Thanks!
