SYD flight was very good.!...good ole CP
Had a very nice flight to SYD this week, the plane was an old CDN 767, still had the Goose on the screen for the emergency info film and the map that shows where you are...
The crew were terrific, had a good chat with them in the galley, all ex cp...
As I remembered, Seat IA the leg rest does not fully come up, now this maybe the same plane as I have flown before...but no biggie...
Even HNL was a breeze, 15 mins all the way, funny point...
There must have been 20 security agents on at this time off night for the bag screen, the oldest was 12..I had 3 bottles of Ice wine as gifts in a carrier bag, all boxed up..
The kid ask me "what was in there"...I said "Icewine", he says "okay" and let me go.!!...go figure....
The security at YVR....Now...I went through the fast track, and bleeped on the metal detector, the gut then waved his wand all over me, Bleeping at my watch, he then said "turn around"...I said, "please"...He said "turn around", in a more aggressive voice, I repeated my request for him to say please, this he ignored and proceed to walk around me..
I asked why can you not be polite...?....He just said.."Jerk" and told me to leave...I just laughed as I needed to fly that day...am I being a jerk to expect a bit of politeness. maybe !
AC part was very good, the plane was tired, the seats had bits of tape all over where bits had come off....but the crew we top notch...well done please keep it up.!

Ferrari, we are becoming suspect. Maybe AC is slipping something into the bottles of water they leave at your seat. These are far too good "bons mots" to being posting on a public bulletin board. Shame on you!
By the way, I was noticing at the SIN Duty Free, Inniskillin iceweins were going to over S$200 for a 500-ml bottle. Even more at NRT. I hope your friends/colleagues enjoyed their gift(s).
