Jumping ship? Get a running start.
Especially useful if you want to stay in *A so are heading to UA, and if you partook of the GoldPoints/ValuMags bonanza, you're already half way there.
Just stay 3 times at a Radisson hotel before March 31st, and in addition to the 6000 GP/1500 miles you'd normally get, you'll get a 10,000 mile UA bonus. A decent deal if I say so myself. Only 1 bonus allowed per member, but other than that no catches.

Yes, and presumably the 10K bonus would be non-Q. But it would still help bulk up your account (starting from 0, say, you'd have almost half a long-haul award ticket in E+).
There is also a bonus listed on the Radisson site, join Radisson GoldRewards (affiliated with GoldPoints) and earn 5K GPs (becomes 1250 airline miles) after your first stay. Don't know when this was introduced, so I don't know if Ken is eligible).

Any comments are appreciated:
Are three stays at a Radisson, totaling $250 CAD (self-paid) worth 11500 UA non-Q miles?
There are some good rates at some of the older Canadian properties.

How much do you calculate your points to be worth? If 3c each, you're getting $345 worth of points. If 2c each, you're getting $230 worth of points. And if you try to use your points for a J ticket, meaning they're worth 5c or more, well you do the math.
My guess is "yes", but only if you have a reason to stay there. You're paying just over 2c a point, assuming it really is $250 and not $300 or more after taxes.
