UA EUpgrade "Certificates"

Now that UA has gone electronic with mileage upgrade certificates, shouldn't the actual mileage be used and not rounded up? Have I missed this elsewhere on the site?

I get what you are saying and I like it. You should probably post this in the UA section. It would probably draw more attention over there from some serious UA heavies.

This has been discussed many times in the United forum. United's response to this suggestion was that nothing has changed with E-500 milers except the delivery method and expiration value. They are still 500 mile "certificates" and have no residual value.

Something to re-suggest to the United boys during the FlyerTalk live chat in April?
