Yes Mileage Addict and AusTxHiker -- the
deli picture is very true when it comes
to frequent flyer travel and redemption
(despite what Jenya says in another post.)
And Rudi you are right too. I go 1.5 miles
to shop for food for the best bargains and
the best price with few restrictions. In fact I will go the distance with coupons and
points and miles in hand to get the best deal. Those few cents here and there can add
up. CATMAN

- free sandwich awards are all capacity controlled
- all free sandwiches are subject to black out days
- free sandwiches not permitted on wholegrain bread except Oct 3-15
- terms & conditions may vary without notice - speak to sandwich desk
- free sandwich must be consumed within 7 days, or offer is withdrawn
- lost "Free Sandwich Vouchers" will not be replaced or extended
- offer good for US & Canadian residents only. Ozzies get stuffed.
- all free sandwiches offered in good faith except where void under law
- delays with providing free sandwiches we don't wanna hear about
- for complaints about this program: 1 - 800 - SANDWICH
- all calls may be monitored for training purposes
- awards may not be transferred unless PIN and ID is presented
- hotel and rental awards not combinable with this offer
- all state, federal and county taxes must be paid by consumer
- if combined with Hilton stay sandwich of same value must be bought
- no double filling/sauce upgrades possible
- pastrami not permitted when salami ordered
- only those qualified may use the Gold Sandwich Line to order
- the Surgeon-General warns eating our sandwiches is pretty risky!

Hi
I have some questions
1. Can I upgrade my sandwich to a roll?
2. Is it better to upgrade one's sandwich or to get a free sandwich?
3. Do I get better service if I upgrade my sandwich?
4. If I upgrade my sandwich do I have to sit with the riff-raff? [hang on... I AM the riff-raff!]
5. Why is the super special high speed french croissant lying at the end of the counter and looking rather burnt?
6. Why are the sandwiches at counter U always late or cancelled?
7. Can I get vegemite on my sandwich? "I come from a land down under..." [Apologies to Men at Work]
8. Why does the Malaysian sandwich always run out of butter?
9. How come the Australian sandwich has always been served perfectly every time and there has never been a cooking accident?
10. Why does every second person want the Hawaiian sandwich?
11. Why is there a web board on the internet devoted to people who want to collect points to buy sandwiches or upgrade them to rolls? [who ARE these people???]
12. Who was that guy who just came in and asked for 1000 puddings?

cheers Peter

... and how come the employees are always eating (for free) the really good sandwiches on the gourmet breads and there aren't any left when customers come in?

The other night the sandwhich Specialist bumped me on the head just as i was about to bite into MY sandwhich, She then proceeded to grab MY sandwhich and give it to someone else, claiming that they had oversold the BLT sandwhcihes. I asked her if she had any Premium Turkey sandwhiches or even just a chesse one, cause I was really hungry and I really needed to eat. She told me they were out of sandwhiches tonight and I would just have to starve till tommorow!! I knew I should have gone to the other Deli, I heard they truly appreciate their regulars.

If you ask for a sandwich of a given type and it isn't available, you are not permitted to leave the store until it is. Furthermore, your cell phone will not function inside the store, but you may use our proprietary pay phone at $5.00 per minute. (Or for A$20, C$9 or 5)
