$25-$30 rebate on priceline tickets/hotels
A site called www.Brandsforless.com (BFL) is now offering rebates for purchases thru their site until late this month. BFL includes many major online stores as partners, including Priceline.com and their hotel section as well, and Ebags. There are 2 rebates on offer, one for $25 on a $50 purchase and the other for $30 on a $50. For the $25, go to the site and register for the superbowl sunday promotion, you will get an email with the rebate link.
For $25 form: http://www.brandsforless.com/promos/...y2550.asp?r=84
For $30 form (there are 2): http://www.brandsforless.com/promos/...11133.asp?r=53
and http://www.brandsforless.com/promos/...11339.asp?r=87
Each promo is 1 per household.
All you have to do is go through BFL's site, go to travel and then priceline, and that takes you to priceline's site, while a BFL banner will be at the top. Go and make your priceline bid as normal. Once you get a bid accepted then you can apply for your rebate using the form address above. If you have a promotion code from priceline for $25 increase to your bid, you should be able to use that as well. For priceline coupons, check on the amazing-bargains.com site under stores>priceline. If they dont give the code, but a link, then go to BFL and priceline first, then follow that link in a separate window to priceline, then proceed in the first, and hopefully that will work.
This works best for a cheap ticket for 1 passenger, if you have 2 traveling, well, if you bid them separately to maximize the rebate you run the risk 1 person gets it and the other doesnt... for hotels I guess that isn't a problem...
You can use this rebate for any of the stores linked through BFL, but priceline or ebags are the travel ones. They also offer rebates on shipping costs (regular not express) for purchases over $25 (priceline doesnt charge)...
The rebates are given in checks which come in 4-8 weeks. For all kinds of info on this promotion, the BFL "system" etc, check out the BFL threads at http://talk.dvdtalk.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/008603.html
That link is to part VI, you can look back at the first 5 for all kinds of info, but of course most of the posts concern using it for DVD purchases, but overall you will find helpful info there.
As to the miles.... well you can do a search for priceline, maybe some are getting it, but i suspect most aren't talking if they are...
hope this helps someone,
