Intra New Zealand air fares
I tried to buy a ticket from Auckland to Christchurch on any airline. Lowest fare quoted was US$148, but I was told that I could buy a US$90 ticket on Ansett, but it could only be purchased in New Zealand. I hate being ripped off just because I am a tourist, so I got stubborn. I did a search on the words "New Zealand Travel Agent." Found

which is an organization of NZ travel agents on line, with their e-mail addresses. Asked for help from 10 of them, got 9 positive responses. I used Executive Travel to buy the ticket.
New Zealand Auto Association also said they would buy it for me. They probably would have charged less for shipping the ticket. Their site is at
