How long before they pass a federal law to close security breach loopholes?
Michael Shane Lasseter, the man responsible for breaching security in Atlanta last week, is only being charged with a misdemeanor at this time because he broke no federal laws. Local law enforcement is still trying to find a way to bring more charges. How long will it take to pass a law making any security breach a federal crime now that security will be under that jurisdiction? There is also talk of civil suits against him, but you can't get blood out of a turnip.

well, when it comes to the feds, it usually takes a death or two, or thousands to wake them up. since this idiot lasseter didn't run thru the security exit and then KILL SOMEONE, we can expect little change.
