A new bill payment service: get a free $10!!!

Payme.com is another Paypal-like program for no-cost fund exchange over the net. For a limited time they are offering $10 signup bonuses and $10 referrals. I've tried the service and it works great! They accept Visa and Mastercard, have a $500 per transaction limit but no stated card limit (Paypal limit is $5000/six months). All card transactions will post as purchases. What do you have to loose... you can at least get a free lunch out of it!

I've learned a lot in this forum and it's my turn now to share my new find!

If you are feeling generous, use my referral link:
http://www.payme.com/[email protected]

Is it just my cynical nature, or do others become suspicious of newbies whose very early post are pushing some website or service?

I'm sorry if I offended you. I have been lurking here for a while... and in my typical nature I don't usually 'join' the conversation unless I have something that I think others will value.... I myself don't enjoy idle conversation... so this is the first time I had something to add that I didn't think Flyertalk subscribers knew about.

Please cut me some slack :-)

P.S. I am not connected at all with the company and this post doesn't require you to use my name as referral. That is your choice. I only said I'd appreciate it (which I would )

You could try the "search" feature to help you.

BTW- I'm not sure I'd entirely agree with the decription you've provided.

I'll vouch for her not being brand new since I got a referral from her while she was lurking here...

And now you've got a referral yourself!

Thanks Carl,
I finally got the referral you sent me to work. I think they were having difficulty with WEBTV. So let me know if it doesn't post in your account :-)

I've looked at the site and have one concern.
Unlike paypal, they want your checking account information to activate an account.
I would like to try them (i.e. receive payment in a timely manner) before giving them access to my checking account. Any thoughts on this from anyone who has used the service.

I agree birdyy, and I would NOT give these folks my banking account number, as I'd already noted when this was posted previously. By contrast, Paypal avoids this entirely by making a credit card account.

It is extremely important to note that giving people/institutions access to making an automatic DEPOSIT to your account ALSO authorizes them to make an automatic WITHDRAWAL! So it is wise to be cautious.

Moreover, this other "payme" service has already suspended the bonus of $5 for a referred signup as well.

Again you CAN still get $10 for each signup AND $10 for each referral so it is a pretty decent deal at PAYPAL. If you want to try it and use a referral ([email protected]) too, great!

Thnaks if you do and enjoy the $10 bonus!
