DFW tram

SOMEWHAT OMNI POSTING: A few interesting things about the DFW tram (or whatever you call that little shuttle between terminals

An announcer said "due to problems shuttles may be delayed 4-5 minutes.") I experienced no delays but some other travelers said they were waiting awhile for the cars.

On two cars: I found who appeared to be a homeless man sleeping on the floor with a big bag.. and on another a homeless woman with shopping bags in the luggage cart. I did not know people can sleep on these trams.

Neither bothered any of the passengers. The temperature went down to 30 degrees in DFW so
I guess they needed shelter. CATMAN

Catman, the man was Jerry Jones of the Cowboys and the woman was Gennifer Flowers of, well, you know who I mean.

THE CONTINUING SAGA OF THE DFW TRAM:

At DFW at a crowded Tram stop, a beautiful young woman was waiting for the Tram. She was decked out in a tight leather mini skirt with matching tight leather boots and jacket. As the Tram rolled up and it became her turn to get on, she became aware that her skirt was too tight to allow her leg to come up to the height of the first step on the Tram. Slightly embarrassed and with a quick smile to the people on the Tram, she reached behind her and unzipped her skirt a little thinking that this would give her
enough slack to raise her leg. Again she tried to make the step onto the Tram only to discover she still couldn't! So, a little more embarrassed, she once again reached behind her and unzipped her skirt a little more and for a second time attempted the step and once again, much to her chagrin she could not raise her leg because of the tight skirt. So, with a coy little smile to the people, she again unzipped the offending skirt to give a little more slack and again was unable to make the step. About this time, Catman, standing behind her in the line, picked her up easily from the waist and placed her lightly on the step of the Tram. Well, she went ballistic and turned on Catman, screeching at him "How dare you touch my body!! I don't even know who you are!" At this, Catman, in his best Texan drawl, yelled, "Well ma'am, normally I would agree with you but after you unzipped my fly three times, I kinda figured that we was friends."

So, stories of Catman's visit to Texas continue to surface. Stay tuned for other breaking news!

New as I am to the concept, I think that should have been an OMNI posting.

Now that I can finally get back on this posting:

Yes, Phil... this should be properly labeled
an OMNI posting.

Rudi: thanks for backing me up.

JAWS: I think we need to sit down on your
porch and review our travel notes, because I don't remember doing anything you are saying I"m doing. And I think that last posting maybe should have been sent directly to me
THIS SITE IS RATED G... and my cat EDDIE was stunned by what he saw!

It was funny though.

Who's story to believe? JAWS or the great and honest and true CATMAN?

PLEASE MAIL YOUR ANSWERS TO OUR E-MAILS AND LETS GET BACK TO TRAVEL TOPICS. HAVE A MEOWY DAY!!! CATMAN

OMNI CORRECTION: Before the Grammar police go after me, that question should read: WHOSE story will you believe?

I can hear my high school Sophmore english teacher lecturing me now. CATMAN

OMNI AGAIN!! If I start getting unsolicited e-mail, I will turn Catman in to the SPAM police. It's not what you think, they send a case of SPAM to Catman every week for a year.

OMNI: Catman's cats would probably love the Spam (so do I, by the way).

you'll probably laugh: I did not find "Spam/SPAM" in my diccionary?

(please translate for me, otherwise I "punish" this board with swiss-german-postings to arturo ...).

SPAM is now used to describe junk e-mail/postings sent out in massive quantities...
(e.g. someone spammed the FlyerTalk board with answers during the competitions last summer)

but the original word is a brand-name for a particuarly vile type of tinned meat made mainly from ham, and comes from SPiced hAM.

(I'm sorry philforest - it is horrid stuff!)
