Turkey, Dubai Exempt From Laptop Ban

On Wednesday, Dubai-based carrier Emirates announced that the United States’ laptop ban would be lifted from all Emirates flights to the United States from Dubai International Airport (DXB). Additionally, Turkish Airlines released a statement announcing that all flights departing to the United States from Istanbul Atatürk Airport (IST) will no longer be subject to the months-old regulation.

Carrier Saudi Arabian Airlines announced Tuesday that it anticipates removal of the ban from its flights as early as July 19.
