A bomb threat forced a Lufthansa A380 carrying 530 people to divert to JFK Monday. The flight, en route from Houston to Frankfurt, was diverted when the threat was phoned in to the airline’s corporate headquarters. After landing, the plane was searched by The Port Authority Police Aircraft Rescue Firefighter Unit, Port Authority Police Patrol, an NYPD bomb squad and a Port Authority K-9 unit who cleared the situation of any threats Tuesday morning.
