China Fines Emirates for Incorrect Plane Height

Because two of Emirates flights allegedly flew at unsafe heights and momentarily lost contact with air traffic control, the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) has fined the carrier for unsafe aviation operations. Both flights were flying over the Chinese city of Urumqi at the time of the alleged incidents.

The CAAC confirmed that it had fined the carrier 29,000 RMB ($4,300), and Emirates said that they will cooperate fully throughout the process.

I thought this was about Emirates having reported a bad figure for the airport to correctly connect a jetway (or not having enough clearance under a bridge?). The word you're looking for here is "altitude."
