Wyndham/ caesars status match diamond

Hey all, anyone else having caesars diamond coming to an end January 2022? I'm also Wyndham diamond and in the past I just made sure to status match from one to the other, is this still an option post-covid? I figured there might be a thread on this as we are 2 months away from reset day for caesars and I believe end of December for Wyndham.
thanks in advance

When is the best time to match your Wyndham status over to Caesar's? If I did it now, I might have to do it again, or is now a good time?

No point in matching Wyndham to CR now since CR expires Jan 31st, 2022 and you would have to do it again on or after February 1st. Only reasons you would do it is if you're visiting a Caesars property and/or trying to use the CR Diamond celebration dinner before it expires on Jan 31st, or if your Wyndham is expiring Dec 31st, 2021.

Today my Wyndham Rewards still shows Diamond, I thought Wyndham Rewards status resets on January 1, hence the reason to match Caesars's Diamond to Wyndham Diamond during the month of January.

Wyndham rolled over 2021 status into 2022, it was on my last statement.

If it's for the whole year then it should be easy to match back to Caesar's on Feb 1?

It should be, I guess I will find out next month because I haven't received anything from Caesar's saying that they extended theirs.

It'll work out better for people status matching if Caesars doesn't extend their status and we status match on 2/1 for the free $100 dinner. Last year when Caesars extended we didn't get the $100 dining credit.

Interesting, because I still got mine. Last year I used my 2020 one and my 2021 one. My status is strictly from a match with Wyndham.

CET extended status but also gave celebration dinner for 2021. Both the 2020 and 2021 celebration dinners expire Jan 23, 2022.

Edit: ***expires Jan 31, 2022

Oh man, wish I would have known that. I was in Vegas a few times in 2021 and was told that only people that requalified for diamond received the celebration diner for 2021 At least I was able to status match to a bunch of casinos in July with the Caesars diamond status.

I'm sure you're not the only one. You still have 3 1/2 weeks to use it!!

If you got in on the Wynn match then you more than made up for the lost $100 celebration dinner you didn't get to use.

Unfortunately I won't be back in Vegas until March. But I did use the Wynn match and my birthday is in march so can use the birthday credit then and was also able to status match to MGM Gold which will cover parking during special event nights at MGM in Detroit (when there is a home game or large event they only comp parking for golds and highers so that saves a lot of money parking and walking).
