Check your Spam Folder - Wyndham 2019 Resort Fee Settlement 2.2K Points

Found this email in my Spam folder by chance (I rarely ever check my spam) - I initially thought it was a scam, but it's legit and the points were instantly credited to my account.

It's only 2.2K but it's free!

2019 Resort Fee Settlement

Use this Redemption Code (redacted) to receive 2,200 Wyndham Rewards Points.

As part of the class action settlement in Luca v. Wyndham Hotel Group, LLC, Case No. 16-cv-746-MRH, you are receiving 2,200 Wyndham Rewards points because Wyndham Hotels identified you as a Settlement Class Member.

To receive your Wyndham Rewards Points, go to https://www.wyndhamhotels.com/wyndha...ts/resort-fees and enter the Redemption Code above. Follow the onscreen prompt to login to an existing Wyndham Rewards Account or to create a Wyndham Rewards Account, if necessary.

Points may be redeemed for a $25.00 Restaurant.com gift card or used in combination with other Wyndham Rewards points for additional redemption options, including hotel stays, merchandise, and airline miles. Points are non-transferable.

Redemption Codes expire on April 30, 2021.

I got two emails with different redemption codes on each. Wonder what that's all about?

Edit- It accepted both codes and added 4400 points to my account

Sadly I dumped my trash about a week ago. So I bet this one got tossed in the process. I doubt calling would do any good now.

I received a postcard in the mail with the redemption code, so it is possible you might receive something in the mail. Worth noting, I did receive a postcard in the mail weeks prior advising about the class action suit.

These are best deposited into accounts that need topping off--within 2200 miles of an award!

The settlement called either for 2,200 points or $22 in cash.
Has anyone taken the cash?
