Cool Vintage Airline Flight Bags

I am trying to buy some vintage airline bags - preferably United. Does anyone know where to look? I have tried ebay but not UA one I was after. I think they would make a great purse.

I would be persistent in checking eBay. Think of all the possible terms someone might list it under - tote, bag, carry on - and put them in your favorites so you get an email when something new is listed. There was one specific AA plate I wanted and it took about a year for me to finally see it on eBay.

This site also has vintage airline things, but prices tend to be higher and, as with eBay, you never know what they may have (no UA totes as present that I found).

Not UA but CX (Cathay Pacific):

IIRC UA has its online shop for UA branded merchandise. Sorry don't remember the address.

The bags can be bought for less than $5.00

Go to Goodwill or Salvation army stores. I saw a Brazilian Airline bag last week, I have also purchased 2 VIRGIN Kid's red bags.I've seen Pan Am on past trips as well as amenity kits from C class on various airlines. There must be so many in your area.

How cool. Happy hunting. I remember really wanting an airline bag after seeing a fashion spread about 10 years ago. My grandmother had a few in great condition but was still using them, so I didn't ask her to part with them. (Though I was tempted. . .)

I really like the 70's style bag - too bad it's rather expensive to purchase online (the shipping cost is > the cost of the bag itself!).

Goodwill stores near major airports. Flight crews often donate stuff when they have to move.
