Another Perfume Twist Thread: Women's vs. Men's Amenity Scents
A pet peeve of mine (although it usually works in my favor!) are amenities that are obviously either for men or for women, and not being offered both.
We both shared the Bulgari eau tea vert & I thought it smelled quite nice on my husband, but he wouldn't be caught dead using it once off the cruise.
At the Hostal de la Gavina and other 5* hotels, Hermes products are offered. This is clearly a man's scent & boy, was I glad I'd brought a set of eau tea vert products to use!
At the Ritz Carlton SFO, Bulgari eau tea blanc is offered & is obviously a sweet female's scent. My husband was quite relieved to find he'd stashed some generic-smelling Portico products from his last Hyatt stay for his use.
Why don't upscale properties offer both men & women's products if their scent is clearly for one or the other?
