Just found this thread... great ideas. I'm on the disposable face cloth brigade but considering switching to a solid bar of some kind to cut down on waste.
For eye makeup, I run to the kitchen of wherever I'm staying and just ask for some olive oil. Most are happy to oblige thankfully and it removes the stuff in seconds. Granted, since I started carrying the cleansing cloths everywhere, I don't resort to this nearly as often. I find having an incredible moisturiser after the fact will resolve any issues caused by cleansing as I've not been overly picky about the types of cleansers I've used.
