WestJet 787 - Rear row recline in PY?

Hello,

Wondering if anyone can confirm if the rear bulkhead row recline is the same as the other PY seats or limited. Haven't been able to find a clear answer and mixed opinions on other 787 PY configurations.

Thanks!

While I don't know the answer to the OPs question, I know enough not to rely on SeatGuru.
For one, it says the last row of PY "may" have limited recline, meaning someone likely made an assumption but didn't bother to confirm.
But SeatGuru is notoriously unreliable. On this seat map alone, it calls the business class seats "recliner-style" which is not correct.

I will be working a B787 flight Monday evening (May 9) and will physically check for you, and reply then.

i will be interested to see what you report. My sense from having been in that row a few times is that there is no difference in recline, or if there is it is not substantial.

Hello. My contacts at PriestmanGood , the firm which helped design WS’s 787 interior informed me there is no difference in recline. The premium cabin seating experience is one and the same for all passengers regardless of row. After all , all the seats in the Premium cabin are priced the same at any one time in booking.

100%.

I’ve stopped using SeatGuru entirely … it’s become that bad. Like they just stopped even trying to keep it accurate a few years ago. (And, heck, they even claim that WestJet still flies 767s.)

Operated transatlantic overnight last night ex-YYC.

W row 8:
8DEF - normal full recline range as other W rows
8AC & 8HK - seat appears given the standard recline as other W seats; however these seats hit aft bulkhead behind, and will not allow the complete recline. Appx 1" of recline is missing.

Hope this helps.
